Dickinson Dees’ charity team gets full marks - 06 Aug 2008
Dickinson Dees LLP has grown its work with independent schools across the UK by 138 per cent over the past twelve months. This has led to the Charities and Independent Schools Team being ranked fourth in this year’s Independent Schools Financial Yearbook, up five places from 2007.
Acting for leading bodies including Cancer Research UK and Scope, the three-strong team - led by leading charities lawyer Ros Harwood, has also been shortlisted for Charities Team of the Year at the 2008 STEP Private Client Awards.
Dickinson Dees is the only firm outside the City to be included in the shortlist, recognising the team’s national reach and experience across the UK in working with major charitable bodies.
“The Charities and Independent Schools team was formed in 2005 and we are extremely proud of our achievements in such a short space of time,” said Ros Harwood, partner at Dickinson Dees. “We are delighted with this year’s ranking and plan to expand the division further over the coming year. Having had such a successful year, we look forward to what the future will bring for the team.”
